A new variation on the Old Fashioned was this evening happened upon by General Gratton at The Aria Hotel in Las Vegas. This version, named ‘The In Fashion’, added Vermouth and Cherry Liquor to the standard mix to create a more fruity variant of the great Old Fashioned. It did, however, leave the General unsure as to whether he would try this cocktail again as it did only score a lowly 6/10.
